Rihanna is starting 2011 off with great news. Her album LOUD has top the global album chart this week after a 27% sales boost.
She knocked Michael Jackson’s latest LP off the top spot with sales of 521,000. Her UK fans have been extremely supportive, helping the LP sell over 1 million copies there. LOUD is Rihanna’s fastest selling album to date and I’m sure it will continue to do well with more singles to come.
She is gearing up to shoot the music video to her new single “S&M” and also made a guest appearance in Kanye West’s “All Of The Lights” video. In related news, a new video surfaced of Rihanna partying with Jay-Z and Kanye West at Marquee Nightclub in Vegas on New Year’s Eve. She stopped by there after her paid appearance at PURE nightclub.
